"Land Beneath the Ground" by NMartinez "Land Beneath the Ground" by NMartinez
This piece's original title: "Scrooge and the Terries and Fermies"

Another installment to my series of Duck fan art, and the first with $crooge McDuck. He encounters the Terries and Fermies from Carl Barks's "Land Beneath the Ground." The Terries wear bowties while the Fermies wear four-in-hands. The rough version can be found here. > [link]

Yeah, it is. The Terries and Fermies have several colors in the version I read though.

Hey I remember seeing an episode of Ducktales featuring Terries but I don't recall seeing the Fermies though.

Superb detailing on the rocks, I like how you made the foreground darker to pin point the viewer's eye.

Is the blue floor in the background water or the cave floor?

The Terries and the Fermies are the same. The way they wear they're ties tells them apart. However, they're just referred to as "Terrafermians" in that Ducktales episode you've mentioned (Earthquack).

The blue floor is water, as seen in Barks's original comic, which I think probably fell from the surface during an earthquake.

I've always liked the texturing colored pencils give. I'm liking this, Nicolas! Keep it up!
